Les Sarkozy, une histoire française
Les Sarkozy, une famille française, roman d'une histoire vraie. L'histoire française des Sarkozy commence à Paris sur une bouche de métro, en décembre 1948 lorsque Pal Sarkozy, réformé de la Légion étrangère, arrive d'Afrique du Nord. Il a faim, il a froid, il est seul dans le dédale d'avenues battues par l'hiver. Presque soixante ans plus tard, son fils Nicolas rêve de dormir à l'Elysée. De Pal à Nicolas Sarkozy, une seule génération a tracé cette trajectoire inouïe. Le père et le fils se ressemblent: même front haut, même ambition. Mais dès l'enfance, Nicolas s'est construit en butte au père absent, dans la violence du ressentiment, souffrant de sa taille et sa solitude. Une famille française retrace la saga des Sarkozy, dans les steppes de la Hongrie impériale puis soviétique, et aussi à Salonique, la Jérusalem de la Méditerranée, en Corrèze pendant l'Occupation, à Paris, à Neuilly. A travers la France de Vichy, les Trente Glorieuses, et les premières années de l'ascension de Nicolas Sarkozy se dessine le récit d'une famille peu ordinaire, avec ses victoires et ses mensonges. Repliée dans sa mémoire d'exil, la vérité de Pal Sarkozy s'effrite entre les mots : le château en Hongrie, la noblesse, la légion, la réussite. A ses enfants de démêler le vrai du faux. Andrée Sarkozy, la mère, fille d'un immigré juif, amoureuse du Hongrois flambeur et flamboyant, mariée puis abandonnée, s'est battue pour élever ses trois fils dans les beaux quartiers …
Rhinocéros
Rhinocéros est la pièce la plus riche de Ionesco. Elle ne perd rien de l'esprit d'innovation, de provocation, des premières pièces. Comme elles, celle-ci mélange les genres et les tons, le comique et le tragique. Mais l'innovation principale qui s'introduit ici est la réflexion sur l'Histoire, à travers le mythe. La pièce est une condamnation de toute dictature (en 1958, on pense au stalinisme). Ionesco condamne autant le fascisme que le communisme. C'est donc une pièce engagée : «Je ne capitule pas», s'écrie le héros.Le rhinocéros incarne le fanatisme qui «défigure les gens, les déshumanise».
La mise à mort de Jean-Edern Hallier
La mise à mort de Jean-Edern Hallier est un livre effrayant. Un livre si stupéfiant par ses implications que l’on se surprend à penser : ai-je vraiment vécu dans cette France-là, dans cette République-là, sous la présidence de cet homme-là ? C’est la face obscure du mitterrandisme qui est ici dévoilée, et sous un jour insoupçonné. Tombé dans le piège obsessionnel tendu par un écrivain fantasque et talentueux, le président de la République, dont les secrets accumulés depuis des décennies constituent et l’armure et le talon d’Achille, met en place un système de persécution dont on découvre ici l’extravagante ampleur.Nous connaissions déjà le passé et les amitiés troubles de François Mitterrand, président romanesque et dissimulateur. Nous n’ignorions pas que cet «aventurier sans principes et sans scrupules», dixit Jacques Chirac, aimait à confondre vie publique et vie privée.
