En Anglais – In the future, in a place called Satelite City, fourteen-year-old Cosmo Hill enters the world, unwanted by his parents. He's sent to the Clarissa Frayne Institute for Parentally Challenged Boys, Freight class. At Clarissa Frayne, the boys are put to work by the state, testing highly dangerous products. At the end of most days, they are covered with burns, bruises, and sores. Cosmo realizes that if he doesn't escape, he will die at this so-called orphanage. When the moment finally comes, Cosmo seizes his chance and breaks out with the help of the Supernaturalists, a motley crew of kids who all have the same special ability as Cosmo-they can see supernatural Parasites, creatures that feed on the life force of humans. The Supernaturalists patrol the city at night, hunting the Parasites in hopes of saving what's left of humanity in Satellite City. Or so they think.
Charles de Foucauld et la fraternité
Il ne suffit pas de prier pour « faire son salut », il ne suffit pas de se donner aux autres dans la charité. Il faut encore s’offrir soi-même, corps et âme, pour le salut de tous. Telle fut la voie de Charles de Foucauld. Son implacable logique l’entraîne à cette conclusion devant laquelle se raidit ou se dérobe la raison humaine : le chrétien, « autre Christ », peut aller jusqu’à donner sa vie pour les autres – la donner physiquement, mais aussi offrir chaque instant de sa vie pour participer à la libération des âmes captives. Dans son ermitage de Tamanrasset, au Hoggar, Charles de Foucauld a pris l’Evangile au sérieux. Il en a vécu et il en est mort. Point n’est besoin de chercher d’autre signification à son message, ni d’autre raison à l’attrait qu’il continue d’exercer.
De Verdronkene
En néerlandais – “De verdronkene” verscheen in april 2005. De eerste druk in een gebonden uitgave, de tweede in een paperbackversie. Deze tweede druk is bij de samenvatting gebruikt. Het is een flinke roman over een noodlottige situatie tijdens de Watersnoodramp van 1953. De roman telt 331 bladzijden. De voorkant van de roman is overwegend blauw met een beetje grijs. Er staat geen afbeelding op de kaft. Op de achterkant staat een foto van de schrijfster en een uiteenzetting van eerder verschenen romans. De flaptekst staat op de één na laatste pagina, wat opmerkelijk mag heten.
